Highlits of the Summer!

So I haven't really kept up with my blog lately! But here are all the amazing things we did over the summer! haha! Enjoy!

California!!!

Finally! Traveling with NO BASEBALL! In the beginning of august we headed off to Laguna Beach! We hit the beach, Disneyland, and an Angles game! It was really fun!

4th of July!

Every year our neighbor hood has this tradition where everyone decorates their bikes,scooters,etc. and ride around the neighbor hood in a little parade! Then we have a delicious breakfast! HAPPY 4th!

This is probably the cutest float in the parade! All the little girls dress up as princesses and wave to everyone watching the parade!

GO HIGHLAND!

GO HIGHLAND ALL-STARS!!! McKay made it on the 8 year old Highland all-stars! So they took 2nd in the state tournament. Then they made it into the regionals! They played against California, Nevada, and Arizona and took 3rd place in regionals!!! GOOD JOB HIGHLAND!!!!

K so every summer me and my cousin Lauren have this tradition that we fly to each others houses! But this summer we were to busy for me to come to her house in Las Vegas! But we had so much fun! We went to Target and bought SO MUCH JUNK FOOD! we spent 50 bucks just on junk food! haha! We went to 7 peaks, stayed up all night (well we attempted to), went to the harry potter movie haha, prank called, and tons of other fun stuff! And the best part is that I went to her beach house on laguna beach with her like a week after all this, and we did it all again haha!

Lake Powell!!!

So on the first week of summer my cousins invited us to go to Lake Powell with them!!! It was so much fun!!!! That was my first trip to Powell and it was a blast!!! I went with My cousins Sarah 13, Scottee (11), Camden (9), Ellie (7), Toby (5) and Maggie (6 months). And my Grandma and Grandpa Studdert and my Aunt Katie and Uncle Dave and my Aunt Abby and Uncle Chris. It worked out perfectly because all our kids are all about the same ages! We stayed on Chris and Abby's house boat!

haha so one night it started pouring rain and all the kids were sleeping out side so we had to Bring all the sleeping bags in and sleep on the floor!!!

Girls Camp 09!

So this year for girls camp we went to Heber Valley Girls Camp! It was amazing! it was so much fun! I had to miss the first day because I was in Lake Powell but i still had a blast!!!!

Long Time, No Blog

Well lately I have been so caught up in Facebook I haven't had to time to update my blog!!! So here are some of the high lights that have happened over the last few months! ENJOY!!!

CALIFORNIA!!

WOW! this was like the first trip that we took that didn't involve baseball!! (now that's a record!!) Well anyway, a few weeks ago we headed down to Laguna Beach, CALIFORNIA!! It was about 10 times warmer then utah! It was so much fun! We stayed with my cousins in their beach house!! The highlight of the trip was that one night while we were there a baby seal swam onto the beach! And we named him Waldo. We thought he was hurt so we called the marine people. They came and told us that he had gotten away from his mom to early. They took him and were going to take care of him until he got old enough to go out by him self. Well here are the pictures..

haha so we saw this weird lady laying in the sea weed and she was a sleep in this BIG pile of sea weed. So my uncle Todd went and started talking to her. She said that she thought that the sea weed was so beautiful and she wanted to put it back in the ocean. She was really weird and her name was Fiona! So we almost named the baby seal Fiona but it was a boy seal!
